Eligibility. This Jackpocket Sweepstakes for Dallas Mavericks Tickets (“Sweepstakes”) is open to all natural persons who are legal residents of Texas, with a primary residence address within Dallas, Texas excluding residents within seventy-five (75) miles from either the Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma, OK, the AT&T Center in San Antonio, TX or the Toyota Center in Houston, TX, who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry. Void outside of Texas. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Sponsor. The Sweepstakes sponsor is Jackpocket Inc. (the “Sponsor”), located at 100 Park Ave, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10017. Sponsor, the Released Parties (as defined below) and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assignees, agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such individuals, are not eligible to participate. Sponsor will conduct the Sweepstakes substantially as described in these Official Rules.
Entry Period. This Sweepstakes begins and ends as set forth in the chart below (the “Entry Period”).

How to Enter. There are two ways to enter during the Entry Period:
- Entry with Purchase Via App: First, download or open the Jackpocket mobile application (the “App”) and navigate to the Giveaway Page in the App; second, tap ‘Activate’ for this Sweepstakes; and third, place an official state lottery ticket order on the App from the state lottery where you are physically located. Every $1.00 spent on such ticket orders in the same account during the Entry Period after this Sweepstakes has been activated in that account is equal to one (1) entry in this Sweepstakes without need to activate again. Tapping ‘Activate’ does not provide a discount to purchase and is used only to trigger and keep track of entries. For new users, placing an order will require downloading the App, opening and registering an account (“Account”), and funding the Account prior to placing the order. All use of the App is subject to its general terms and conditions at jackpocket.com/tos. Lottery ticket orders made using promotional credits and/or promotional funds will not provide any entries in the Sweepstakes for the amounts of such promotional credits and/or promotional funds. Lottery ticket orders made for scratch games (e.g., scratchers) will not provide any entries in the Sweepstakes for the amounts of such lottery ticket orders made for scratch games.
In order to enter with purchase via the App, you must have the following versions of iOS or Android, as applicable, installed:
Jackpocket Android Version 2.13.7 or higher
Jackpocket iOS Version 2.13.8 or higher
- Free Entry via Website: You may also enter for free, without any purchase, by doing the following (the “Free Entry”): First, download the App and open and register an Account, which is free to do; and second, after creating your Account, during the Entry Period, go to https://jackpocket.typeform.com/to/l1KNEE94 (the “Site”), and complete the typeform located there with the following information: full name, mailing address and the email address you used to register your Jackpocket Account. Each time you properly complete and submit the typeform on the Site, you receive ten (10) entries, which, as of as of the start date and time of this Sweepstakes, is equal or greater than the average number of dollars currently spent per day by users of the App to purchase state lottery tickets. IMPORTANT: The email address that you enter in the typeform MUST match the email address that you used to register your Jackpocket Account. If the email addresses do not match, then you will not receive any entries for the typeform on which the email addresses did not match. Upon successful completion of both of the steps noted hereunder, you do not need to fund your Jackpocket Account in order to enter the Sweepstakes during the Entry Period and registering for a Jackpocket Account is free.
Limitations on Entries. LIMIT OF ONE HUNDRED (100) ENTRIES PER PERSON PER DAY DURING THE ENTRY PERIOD, REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY, INCLUDING ANY COMBINATION OF ENTRIES GENERATED BY EITHER OR BOTH OF THE METHODS DESCRIBED ABOVE. No third party entry or entry through any Sweepstakes service is permitted. Any person who attempts or otherwise encourages the entry of multiple or false contact information under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter or encourage multiple or false entries, as determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified. Use of robotic entry devices is strictly prohibited.
Winners and Prizes. Four (4) total winners will be chosen who will each win the following prize: Two (2) lower level tickets to a Dallas Mavericks Home Game vs the Los Angeles Clippers on November 10, 2023 at 7:30 PM CT at American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas, which allows the winner and one (1) guest to occupy two (2) seats at the game. Approximate retail value to each winner: $1,560.00 USD. Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and actual value of the prize will not be awarded. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely each winner’s responsibility, including any applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Each winner understands there are inherent risks involved in travel to and from, and attendance to, American Airlines Center, and these risks may be present before, during, and after the event. Winner agrees to accept the prize “as is” and entrants hereby acknowledge that Sponsor and Dallas Basketball Limited, a Texas limited partnership doing business as the Dallas Mavericks (“DM”), are not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee relative to the prizes, including warranties provided exclusively by a prize supplier.
Each winner and winner’s guest must comply with all guidelines and rules for entry into American Airlines Center, as may be applicable. Each winner and winner’s guest must conduct themselves at all times in a socially responsible, appropriate and well-behaved manner. Additional terms and conditions may apply to American Airlines Center and its surrounding events for which Sponsor or DM shall not be responsible or liable in any way for any cancellations, losses or damages.
Drawing. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries collected during the Entry Period, taking place on or about November 1, 2023 at 11:00 AM ET. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions and interpretations on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or winner and may refuse to award a prize to a person who is not eligible or has violated a rule, gained unfair advantage in the Sweepstakes, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means, to be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, prize will be awarded to the natural person associated with the account or provided by email. If winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with the Sweepstakes rules, winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be awarded the prize in a separate random drawing at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email associated with their Jackpocket Account. Inability of Sponsor to contact winner by telephone and/or email within twenty-four (24) hours after selection may result in disqualification of such winner and an alternate winner may be selected in a random drawing at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Prize will be sent to winner by email within twenty-four (24) hours after winner has been notified and accepted the prize. If prize is returned as undeliverable, then prize will be forfeited and another winner may be randomly drawn.
WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER WITH OR VANDALIZE ANY SPONSOR-OWNED WEBSITE OR MOBILE APPLICATION OR RELATED SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE, THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE INTERFERE WITH OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
General Terms. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrant acknowledges and accepts to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, disqualify, or withdraw any entry at any time. Sponsor, DM, and the Released Parties (as defined below) will not be responsible for any injury, damage, or loss of any kind arising out of your participation in the Sweepstakes and/or acceptance of a prize.
ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR, DM, NBA PROPERTIES INC. NBA MEDIA VENTURES, LLC, THE NATIONAL BASKETBALL ASSOCIATION AND ITS MEMBER TEAMS AND EACH OF THEIR RESPECTIVE PARENTS, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES, EMPLOYEES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, AGENTS AND ASSIGNEES, TRUSTEES, FRANCHISEES (the “NBA ENTITIES”), PARTICIPATING VENDORS, DISTRIBUTORS, ADVERTISING PRODUCTION AND PROMOTION AGENCIES, AGENTS AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM AND AGAINST ANY OR ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, INJURIES, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, INCOMPLETE, INACCURATE, STOLEN, MISDIRECTED, UNDELIVERED OR GARBLED ENTRIES OR EMAIL; OR FOR LOST, INTERRUPTED OR UNAVAILABLE NETWORK, SERVER, INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP), WEBSITE, OR OTHER CONNECTIONS, AVAILABILITY OR ACCESSIBILITY OR MISCOMMUNICATIONS OR FAILED COMPUTER, SATELLITE, TELEPHONE OR CABLE TRANSMISSIONS, LINES, OR TECHNICAL FAILURE OR JUMBLED, SCRAMBLED, DELAYED, OR MISDIRECTED TRANSMISSIONS OR COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE MALFUNCTIONS, FAILURES OR DIFFICULTIES, OR OTHER ERRORS OR DIFFICULTIES OF ANY KIND WHETHER HUMAN, MECHANICAL, ELECTRONIC, COMPUTER, NETWORK, TYPOGRAPHICAL, PRINTING OR OTHERWISE RELATING TO OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ERRORS OR DIFFICULTIES WHICH MAY OCCUR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES, THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRIZES OR IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED MATERIALS. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY SITE USERS, TAMPERING, HACKING, OR BY ANY EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PARTICIPANTS' OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON'S COMPUTER RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
The NBA Entities (including the DM) will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded. The NBA Entities (including the DM) have not offered or administered this Sweepstakes in any way. Entrant hereby irrevocably covenants that neither it nor any of its related parties will, directly or indirectly, alone or by, with, or through others, cause, induce or authorize, or voluntarily assist, participate, or cooperate in, the commencement, maintenance or prosecution of any action or proceeding of any kind or nature whatsoever including, but not limited to, any suit, complaint, grievance, demand, claim, cause of action in, of, or before any government authority against the NBA Entities (including the Dallas Mavericks), seeking or having the tendency to establish any liability on the part of, or to exact any sanction or penalty, or any injunctive, equitable, legal, declaratory, administrative or other relief from or against the NBA Entities (including the DM), or any of such other released persons or entities, arising from, by reason of, or in connection with any claim or other matter related to this Sweepstakes. Entrant understands and agrees that liability or obligation of any sort to the Releasees shall come solely from the assets of Sponsor, and neither the NBA Entities (including the DM), nor any owner, partner, shareholder, officer, employee or director of the NBA Entities (including the DM) shall be individually or personally liable for any claim, liability or obligations arising under this Sweepstakes.
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting a prize, each winner grants Sponsor, DM and NBA Entities a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use winner’s name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or likeness without further authorization, compensation, or remuneration of any kind for advertising, promotion and other publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, including, without limitation, in social media advertisements and announcements.
Winner’s Name. For the winners’ names, available approximately 15 days after the Entry Period closes, please visit the Giveaway Page in the App or contact Sponsor by email at giveaways@jackpocket.com and include the name of the Sweepstakes in your email. All such requests must be received within 60 days after the Entry Period.
The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.
