NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN.  A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

Eligibility. This Jackpocket’s December 2024 – February 2025 New York Islanders Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to all natural persons who are physically present in New York, who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry.  Void outside of New York.  This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.

Sponsor. The Sweepstakes sponsor is Jackpocket LLC (the “Sponsor”), located at 100 Park Ave, 16th Floor, New York, NY 10017.  Sponsor and NYI (as defined below) and each of its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, successors, assignees, agents, representatives, officers, directors, shareholders, and employees and any entity involved in the development, production, implementation, administration, judging or fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, including without limitation, the immediate family members of such individuals, are not eligible to participate.  Sponsor will conduct the Sweepstakes substantially as described in these Official Rules. NYI and New York Arena Partners, LLC are not sponsors of the Sweepstakes and are in no way responsible for the administration of the Sweepstakes, the verification of winners, and/or the fulfillment of prizing.

Entry Periods. This Sweepstakes begins on December 16, 2024 at 12:00:00 PM Eastern Time (“ET”) and ends on February 16, 2025 at 11:45:00 PM ET (the “Entry Period”). The Sponsor’s database computer is the official timekeeping device for the Sweepstakes. 

How to Enter. There are two ways to enter during the Entry Period

• Entry with Purchase Via App:  First, download or open the Jackpocket mobile application (the “App”) and navigate to the Giveaways Page in the App; second, tap ‘Activate’ for this Sweepstakes; and third, place an official national or state lottery ticket order on the App while physically located in New York.  Every $1.00 spent on such ticket orders in the same account during the Entry Period after this Sweepstakes has been activated in that account is equal to one (1) entry in this Sweepstakes without need to activate again.  Tapping ‘Activate’ does not provide a discount to purchase and is used only to trigger and keep track of entries. For new users, placing an order will require downloading the App, opening and registering an account (“Account”), and funding the Account prior to placing the order.  All use of the App is subject to its general terms and conditions at jackpocket.com/tos.  Lottery ticket orders made using promotional credits and/or promotional funds will not provide any entries in the Sweepstakes for the amounts of such promotional credits and/or promotional funds.

In order to enter with purchase via the App, you must have the following versions of iOS or Android, as applicable, installed: 

Jackpocket Android Version 2.13.7 or higher
Jackpocket iOS Version 2.13.8 or higher

• Free Entry via Website: You may also enter for free, without any purchase, by doing the following (the “Free Entry”): First, download the App and open and register an Account, which is free to do; and second, after creating your Account, during the Entry Period, go to https://jackpocket.typeform.com/to/tQjNgEbb (the “Site”), and complete the typeform located there with the following information: full name, mailing address and the email address you used to register your Jackpocket Account.  Each time you properly complete and submit the typeform on the Site, you receive ten (10) entries, which, as of the start date and time of this Sweepstakes, is equal or greater than the average number of dollars currently spent per day by users of the App to purchase state lottery tickets. IMPORTANT: The email address that you enter in the typeform MUST match the email address that you used to register your Jackpocket Account. If the email addresses do not match, then you will not receive any entries for the typeform on which the email addresses did not match. Upon successful completion of both of the steps noted hereunder, you do not need to fund your Jackpocket Account in order to enter the Sweepstakes during the Entry Period and registering for a Jackpocket Account is free.  

Limitations on Entries. LIMIT OF AN AVERAGE OF ONE HUNDRED (100) ENTRIES PER PERSON PER DAY DURING THE ENTRY PERIOD, REGARDLESS OF METHOD OF ENTRY, INCLUDING ANY COMBINATION OF ENTRIES GENERATED BY EITHER OR BOTH OF THE METHODS DESCRIBED ABOVE. An entrant can receive more than one hundred (100) entries in any given day during the Entry Period, provided that their average number of entries per day (calculated by dividing their total number of entries by the number of days in the Entry Period) does not exceed one hundred (100). No third party entry or entry through any Sweepstakes service is permitted.  Any person who attempts or otherwise encourages the entry of multiple or false contact information under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter or encourage multiple or false entries, as determined by Sponsor, will be disqualified.  Use of robotic entry devices is strictly prohibited.

The entrant must be the authorized account holder of the registered Jackpocket account associated with the entry. In the event of a dispute over the identity of an entrant or potential winner in the Sweepstakes, the entrant or potential winner will be deemed the authorized account holder of the email address associated with the Jackpocket account. “Authorized Account Holder” is defined as the natural person in whose name the email account was opened, as long as such person is otherwise eligible in accordance with these Official Rules. In the event a dispute regarding the identity of an entrant or potential winner cannot be resolved to the Sponsor’s satisfaction, the affected entry will be deemed ineligible. Entries will not be acknowledged except as provided herein.

Winners and Prizes.  Two (2) total winners will be chosen who will each win the following prize: Two (2)  tickets to the New York Islanders vs New York Rangers game at 7:30 PM ET on February 25, 2025 at UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, which allows the winner and one (1) guest to occupy two (2) seats at the game. Approximate retail value to each winner: $588.00; approximate retail value of all prizes awarded in the Sweepstakes: $1,176.00. Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and actual value of the prize will not be awarded.  All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the winner’s responsibility, including but not limited to travel, lodging, food and beverage. Winner understands there are inherent risks involved in travel to and from, and attendance at, UBS Arena, and these risks may be present before, during, and after the event.  Winner agrees to accept the prize “as is” and entrants hereby acknowledge that Sponsor and New York Islanders Hockey Club, L.P. (“NYI”) are not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee relative to the prizes, including warranties provided exclusively by a prize supplier.

A Ticketmaster account is required to receive the prize. The Sweepstakes is in no way sponsored, administered or produced by Ticketmaster.

The winner and winner’s guest must conduct themselves at all times in a socially responsible, appropriate and well-behaved manner; Sponsor, NYI and/or venue may eject the winner and/or winner’s guest from the venue if the winner and/or winner’s guest behave in an inappropriate, belligerent or unruly manner as determined by Sponsor, NYI, and/or venue in their sole discretion; and, under such circumstances, Sponsor, NYI, and/or venue shall NOT have any liability or obligation to the winner and/or winner’s guest of any kind.  Additional terms and conditions may apply to UBS Arena and its surrounding events for which Sponsor or NYI shall not be responsible or liable in any way for any cancellations, losses or damages.

Winner is solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, and local taxes as a result of acceptance of the prize.  Sponsor shall provide winner with applicable tax forms for withholding purposes and winner must return to Sponsor a W9 or W-8 BEN tax form, as applicable, prior to receiving the prize, if any such forms are required to be provided by Sponsor. Prizes may be subject to tax withholdings as required by law. Winner is solely responsible for determining winner’s tax liability that is in addition to or different from that described in this section.  No substitution or transfer of prize except in Sponsor’s discretion; provided that if the advertised prize becomes unavailable for any reason, an alternate prize of comparable value may be awarded.

Drawing.  Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries collected during the Entry Period, taking place on or about February 17, 2025 at 11:00 AM ET.  The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions and interpretations on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are final and binding in all respects.  Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or potential winner and may refuse to award a prize to a person who is not eligible or has violated a rule, gained unfair advantage in the Sweepstakes, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means, to be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion.  If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, prize will be awarded to the natural person associated with the Jackpocket account or provided by email.  If a winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with the Sweepstakes rules, such winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner will be awarded the prize in a separate random drawing at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email associated with their Jackpocket account.  Inability of Sponsor to contact winner by telephone and/or email within seventy-two (72) hours after selection may result in disqualification of such winner and an alternate winner may be selected in a random drawing at Sponsor’s sole discretion.  Prize will be sent to winner by email via TicketMaster within seventy-two (72) hours after winner has been notified and accepted the prize.  If prize is returned as undeliverable, then prize will be forfeited and another winner may be randomly drawn. Each potential winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release, and (where legal) a Publicity Release; failure to comply when requested may result in disqualification and award of prize to an alternate winner.

Odds.  The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.

WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER WITH OR VANDALIZE ANY SPONSOR-OWNED WEBSITE OR MOBILE APPLICATION OR RELATED SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE, THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE INTERFERE WITH OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

General Terms.  By entering this Sweepstakes, entrant acknowledges and agrees to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects.  Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, disqualify, or withdraw any entry at any time.  Sponsor and NYI will not be responsible for any injury, damage, or loss of any kind arising out of your participation in the Sweepstakes.  

ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR, NYI, New York Arena Partners, LLC (“NYAP”) and EACH OF THE FOREGOING’S RESPECTIVE parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and their respective shareholders, partners, members, directors, officers, employees and agents, together with the National Hockey League (“NHL”), its member clubs, NHL Enterprises, L.P., NHL Enterprises Canada, L.P., NHL Enterprises, Inc., National Hockey League Enterprises Canada, Inc., NHL Enterprises B.V., Intra-Continental Ensurers, Limited, NHL Interactive CyberEnterprises, LLC, NHL Network US, L.P., NHL Network US, Inc., NHL WCH 16, LP, NHL WCH 16, Inc., NHL WCH 16 US, LP, NHL WCH 16 US GP, LLC, NHL WCH 16 Canada Holdco, Inc., NHL WCH 16 US Holdco, LLC, any entity that may be formed by the NHL member clubs, and all such entities’ and individuals’ respective affiliates, subsidiaries, parent companies, directors, officers, professional advisors, consultants, contractors, legal counsel, public relations firms, employees and advertising, fulfillment and marketing agencies (COLLECTIVELY, THE “RELEASED PARTIES”) FROM ANY AGAINST ANY OR ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, INJURIES, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES.  THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, INCOMPLETE, INACCURATE, STOLEN, MISDIRECTED, UNDELIVERED OR GARBLED ENTRIES OR EMAIL; OR FOR LOST, INTERRUPTED OR UNAVAILABLE NETWORK, SERVER, INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (“ISP”), WEBSITE, OR OTHER CONNECTIONS, AVAILABILITY OR ACCESSIBILITY OR MISCOMMUNICATIONS OR FAILED COMPUTER, SATELLITE, TELEPHONE OR CABLE TRANSMISSIONS, LINES, OR TECHNICAL FAILURE OR JUMBLED, SCRAMBLED, DELAYED, OR MISDIRECTED TRANSMISSIONS OR COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE MALFUNCTIONS, FAILURES OR DIFFICULTIES, OR OTHER ERRORS OR DIFFICULTIES OF ANY KIND WHETHER HUMAN, MECHANICAL, ELECTRONIC, COMPUTER, NETWORK, TYPOGRAPHICAL, PRINTING OR OTHERWISE RELATING TO OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ERRORS OR DIFFICULTIES WHICH MAY OCCUR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES, THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRIZES OR IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED MATERIALS.  THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY SITE USERS, TAMPERING, HACKING, OR BY ANY EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. THE RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PARTICIPANTS' OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON'S COMPUTER RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.

Except where prohibited by law, by accepting the prize, winner grants Sponsor and NYI a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use winner’s name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or likeness without further authorization, compensation, or remuneration of any kind for advertising, promotion and other publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity, including, without limitation, in social media advertisements and announcements.

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes, in whole or in part, if it determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other unintended circumstances have impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select winner(s) in a random drawing from all eligible, non-suspect entries unaffected by the problem. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

Only the type and quantity of prizes described in these Official Rules will be awarded.  If, for any reason, more bona fide winners come forward seeking to claim prizes in excess of the number of each type of prize set forth in these Official Rules, the winners, or remaining winners, as the case may be, of the advertised number of prizes available in the prize category in question may be selected in a random drawing from among all persons making purportedly valid claims for such prize(s).  Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy in such circumstances.

By entering the Sweepstakes, you further agree that (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or in connection with the Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, shall be resolved individually without resort to any form of class action; (b) any claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to reasonable and actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event attorney's fees; and (c) under no circumstances will you be permitted to obtain any award for, and you hereby waive all rights to claim, punitive, incidental, indirect or consequential damages and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased and any other damages, other than damages for reasonable and actual out-of-pocket expenses.  These rules and any disputes relating hereto are governed by the internal laws of the State of New York without regard to principles of conflicts of laws, and by entering, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts in the State of New York for resolution of any disputes relating to the Sweepstakes and waive any objection thereto.

Any information submitted in connection with this Sweepstakes will be treated in accordance with these Official Rules and the Sponsor’s and NYI’s respective privacy policies, as may be amended from time to time, including without limitation, the privacy policy for Jackpocket, located at https://jackpocket.com/privacy and for NYI located at https://www.nhl.com/islanders/team/privacy-policy. By participating in the Sweepstakes, each entrant hereby agrees to the Sponsor’s and NYI’s collection and usage of their personally identifying information, including without limitation for verification, prize fulfillment, marketing, and promotional purposes, and acknowledge that they have read and accepted the applicable privacy policies.

Any Sponsor trademarks, NYI trademarks or third-party trademarks mentioned herein are the sole and exclusive property of their respective trademark owners, and no entrant or winner shall have any rights in and to such trademarks for any purpose. The use and mention of any third-party trademarks in these Official Rules or in the Sweepstakes is solely for description purposes and shall in no way imply an endorsement or sponsorship of the Sweepstakes. All rights reserved.

Winner’s Name.  For the winners’ names, available approximately fifteen (15) days after the Entry Period closes, please visit the Giveaways Page in the App or contact Sponsor by email at jp-giveaways@draftkings.com and include the name of the Sweepstakes in your email. All such requests must be received within sixty (60) days after the Entry Period.
