About the Florida State Lottery

FL lottery results have been exciting lottery lovers since 1986, when the Florida Lottery was added to the state constitution. From the beginning, the goal was to raise funds for educational initiatives.

In the lottery’s first three weeks of operation, $15.5 million was raised for the General Fund. To date, the lottery has contributed over $23 billion to the state’s public schools, over $11 billion to state colleges and universities, and over $8 billion to the Bright Futures Scholarship Program.

How to claim your winnings in Florida

If you used the Jackpocket app and won up to $599, Jackpocket will credit your winnings directly to your account. Use them to join the fun again again or transfer them to your bank account. The choice is yours.

If the amount is $600 or more, we will arrange to securely send you your ticket so you can claim your winnings with the Florida lottery.

Celebrate your good fortune if you win! There are two deadlines for claiming your prize if your prize is large enough to offer either an annuity or cash option.

Prizes of $600 to $1 million may be claimed by walk-in or appointment at any Florida Lottery District Office for games without an annual payment option. For prizes greater than $1 million with an annual payment plan, you must claim your prize at the Florida Lottery Headquarters. (There is an exception for Mega Millions and Powerball, which can be claimed at the Florida Lottery District Office.)

Cash option prizes expire 60 days after the Florida lottery results for that game.

You have 180 days from the date of the FL lottery results to claim your winnings for the annuity option or for smaller prizes that don’t have a cash or annuity option.
