Eligibility. This New York Jets Mobile Scratch-Off Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to natural persons who are legal residents of New York or New Jersey, who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry. Employees, consultants, independent contractors, officers, directors, agents and representatives of Sponsor (as defined below), New York Jets LLC (“NYJ”), the NFL Entities (defined as NFL Enterprises LLC, NFL Properties LLC, the National Football League, its member professional football clubs, NFL Ventures, Inc., NFL Ventures, L.P., NFL International LLC, NFL Productions LLC and each of their respective affiliates, owners, subsidiaries, shareholders, officers, directors, partners, agents, representatives and employees, both individually and collectively), and each of their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, agents, wholesalers, retailers, vendors, distributors, suppliers, advertising and promotion agencies (hereafter, collectively, “Released Parties”), and each such individual’s immediate family members (respective spouses, mother, father, sister, brother, step-siblings, children, step-children, grandparents, grandchildren, and step-grandchildren, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, are not eligible to participate or win. Void outside of New York or New Jersey. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Sponsor. The Sweepstakes sponsor is Jackpocket Inc. (“Sponsor”), located at 145 W 45th St, Floor 12, New York, New York 10036. Sponsor will conduct the Sweepstakes substantially as described in these Official Rules and will have complete discretion over interpretation of these Official Rules, of administration and operation of the Sweepstakes, and of selection of the winner(s). Decisions of the Sponsor will be final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to change or end the Sweepstakes for any reason, including, without limitation, if required for legal and/or regulatory reasons.
Entry Period. This Sweepstakes begins on Sunday, November 28th, 2021 at 8:00 AM ET and ends on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:59 AM ET (the “Entry Period”).
How to Enter. During the Entry Period, complete all of the following steps to enter the Sweepstakes: first, download the New York Jets mobile application if you do not have it already and click on the push notification received for this Sweepstakes; second, scratch off the digital ticket, which will reveal a promo code (the “Promo Code”); and third, click-through to download the Jackpocket mobile application if you do not have it already or click-through to open the Jackpocket mobile application, then place a lottery ticket order on the Jackpocket mobile application and enter the Promo Code at checkout. All entries must be received by 11:59 AM ET on Monday, January 10, 2022 to be eligible. The Promo Code does not provide a discount to purchase and is used to keep track of entries. For new users, placing a lottery ticket order on the Jackpocket mobile application will require downloading the Jackpocket mobile application, opening and registering an account, and funding the account prior to placing the order. All use of the New York Jets mobile application is subject to its privacy policy available at https://www.newyorkjets.com/faqs/privacy-policy. All use of the Jackpocket mobile application is subject to its general terms and conditions available at jackpocket.com/tos.
Free Entry. To enter for free, you must complete both of the following two steps, each of which is free and easy to complete in just a few moments of time: first, you must download the Jackpocket mobile application and open and register an account and, second, during the Entry Period, you must go to the website: https://jackpocket.typeform.com/to/lyXARuzz, and complete the typeform on the website with the following information: full name, phone number, mailing address and the email address you used to register your Jackpocket account. The email address that you enter in typeform MUST match the email address that you used to register your Jackpocket account. If the email addresses do not match, then your entry will be disqualified. Upon successful completion of both of the steps noted hereunder, you do not need to fund your Jackpocket account in order to enter the Sweepstakes during the Entry Period and registering for a Jackpocket account is free.
Limitations on Entries. LIMIT ONE (1) ENTRY PER PERSON. No third party entry or entry through any sweepstakes service is permitted. Any person who attempts or otherwise encourages the entry of multiple entries or provides false contact information under multiple identities or uses any device or artifice to enter or encourage multiple or false entries, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion, will be disqualified. Use of robotic entry devices (including but not limited to entries generated by script, macro or other automated or mechanical means) is strictly prohibited.
Winners and Prizes. Five (5) winners will be chosen (each, a “Winner”), where each Winner will win the following prizes: one (1) New York Jets T-Shirt, one (1) New York Jets Football Helmet and one (1) New York Jets Football (collectively, the “Prize”). Approximate retail value to each Winner: $359 USD. Any difference between the stated approximate retail value and actual value of the Prize will not be awarded. All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein are solely the Winner’s responsibility, including any applicable federal, state, and local taxes. Winner agrees to accept the Prize “as is” and entrants hereby acknowledge that Sponsor and NYJ are not in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation, or guarantee relative to the Prizes, including warranties provided exclusively by a Prize supplier.
Drawing. Winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries collected during the Entry Period, taking place on or about Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 1:00 PM ET, at Sponsor’s place of business. The drawing will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions and interpretations on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes and these Official Rules are final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or Winner and may refuse to award a prize to a person who is not eligible or has violated a rule, gained unfair advantage in the Sweepstakes, or obtained winner status using fraudulent means, to be determined in Sponsor’s sole discretion. If there is a dispute about the identity of an entrant, prize will be awarded to the natural person associated with the account or provided by email. If Winner is found to be ineligible or not in compliance with the Sweepstakes rules, Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Winner will be awarded the Prize in a separate random drawing at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Winner will be notified by phone and/or email associated with their Jackpocket account. Inability of Sponsor to contact Winner by telephone and/or email within twenty-four (24) hours after selection may result in disqualification of such Winner and an alternate Winner may be selected in a random drawing at Sponsor’s sole discretion. Each Prize will be mailed to each Winner at the address provided in their entry form within three (3) days after each Winner has been notified and accepted the Prize. If any prize is returned as undeliverable, then such prize will be forfeited and another Winner may be randomly drawn.
Odds. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible participants, according to the eligibility requirements in the Sweepstakes.
WARNING: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON, WHETHER OR NOT AN ENTRANT, TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE, DESTROY, TAMPER WITH OR VANDALIZE ANY SPONSOR-OWNED WEBSITE OR MOBILE APPLICATION OR RELATED SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE, THE ENTRY PROCESS, OR OTHERWISE INTERFERE WITH OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, MAY BE IN VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND DILIGENTLY PURSUE ALL REMEDIES AGAINST ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
General Terms. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrant acknowledges and accepts to abide by the Official Rules and decisions of Sponsor, which will be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse, disqualify, or withdraw any entry at any time. Sponsor, NYJ and Released Parties will not be responsible for any injury, damage, or loss of any kind arising out of your participation in the Sweepstakes.
ENTRANT AGREES TO RELEASE, DISCHARGE, AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR, NYJ, AND RELEASED PARTIES FROM ANY AGAINST ANY OR ALL CLAIMS, LOSSES, INJURIES, OR DAMAGES RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. THE SPONSOR, NYJ, AND RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST, LATE, INCOMPLETE, INACCURATE, STOLEN, MISDIRECTED, UNDELIVERED OR GARBLED ENTRIES OR EMAIL; OR FOR LOST, INTERRUPTED OR UNAVAILABLE NETWORK, SERVER, INTERNET SERVICE PROVIDER (ISP), WEBSITE, OR OTHER CONNECTIONS, AVAILABILITY OR ACCESSIBILITY OR MISCOMMUNICATIONS OR FAILED COMPUTER, SATELLITE, TELEPHONE OR CABLE TRANSMISSIONS, LINES, OR TECHNICAL FAILURE OR JUMBLED, SCRAMBLED, DELAYED, OR MISDIRECTED TRANSMISSIONS OR COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE MALFUNCTIONS, FAILURES OR DIFFICULTIES, OR OTHER ERRORS OR DIFFICULTIES OF ANY KIND WHETHER HUMAN, MECHANICAL, ELECTRONIC, COMPUTER, NETWORK, TYPOGRAPHICAL, PRINTING OR OTHERWISE RELATING TO OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ERRORS OR DIFFICULTIES WHICH MAY OCCUR IN CONNECTION WITH THE ADMINISTRATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES, THE PROCESSING OF ENTRIES, THE ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE PRIZES OR IN ANY SWEEPSTAKES-RELATED MATERIALS. THE SPONSOR, NYJ, AND RELEASED PARTIES ARE ALSO NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY INCORRECT OR INACCURATE INFORMATION, WHETHER CAUSED BY SITE USERS, TAMPERING, HACKING, OR BY ANY EQUIPMENT OR PROGRAMMING ASSOCIATED WITH OR UTILIZED IN THE SWEEPSTAKES. THE SPONSOR, NYJ, AND RELEASED PARTIES ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INJURY OR DAMAGE TO PARTICIPANTS' OR TO ANY OTHER PERSON'S COMPUTER RELATED TO OR RESULTING FROM PARTICIPATING IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES.
Except where prohibited by law, by accepting prize, Winner grants Sponsor and NYJ a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use Winner’s name, address (city and state), photograph, voice and/or likeness without further authorization, compensation, or remuneration of any kind for advertising, promotion and other publicity purposes in any and all media now or hereafter known throughout the world in perpetuity.
Winner’s Name. The names of Winners (the “Winner List”) are available only for thirty (30) days after the Entry Period for the Sweepstakes ends. To receive the name of Winners, where permitted by law, and/or a printed copy of the Sweepstakes Official Rules, please contact Sponsor by email at jetsscratchoff@jackpocket.com. All requests for the Winner List must be received by Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 12:00 PM ET.
